Terms of Use

These conditions govern visits to and use of Chaffee County Court Docket. Reading a page or using a search tool means the visitor accepts them. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the website. Official Colorado dockets, settings, registers of action, and court documents must still be confirmed with the Chaffee Combined Court clerk or the municipal court that maintains the original case.

NO FCRA USE. Chaffee County Court Docket is private and has no government or court affiliation. It is not a consumer reporting agency. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers a service for any purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including credit, employment, tenant screening, or insurance decisions.

1. What This Website Is

This is an independently operated reference resource. It does not store official Chaffee County court records, control the Colorado Docket Search, schedule hearings, receive filings, or issue court documents. It identifies official court and clerk channels and may connect visitors with outside search services.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is general information, not an official docket, court order, or substitute for advice from a licensed lawyer. Confirm a setting, deadline, case status, fee, and document directly with the court or clerk before acting.

3. Rules for Using This Site

A visitor agrees not to:

  • Use the website in violation of federal, Colorado, or local law
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm another person
  • Use site content for an FCRA-regulated decision
  • Attempt unauthorized access to any system or account
  • Scrape, crawl, or automate requests against the pages
  • Disrupt the service or another visitor's access

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Chaffee County Court Docket does not create credit reports, background checks, or other consumer reports. Data from the site or a linked tool must not be used for credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance eligibility, or another FCRA-regulated purpose. A visitor accepts full responsibility for complying with the FCRA and all other applicable law.

5. No Legal Advice

Descriptions of Colorado case classes, court access, or Chaffee County procedure are educational only. They do not form an attorney-client relationship or address the legal effect of a specific case.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

No promise is made that a page, link, contact, fee, court setting, or partner result is complete, current, or error free. Dockets change when courts add, reset, seal, dismiss, or amend matters. Technology can also fail. The originating court remains the source to verify.

Colorado court case records are governed chiefly by Chief Justice Directive 05-01, while Chapter 38 Rule 2 addresses Judicial Branch administrative records. References to those authorities do not make this private site an official custodian under Colorado law.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External courts, agencies, public portals, advertisers, and search providers run their own services. Chaffee County Court Docket does not control their content, availability, privacy practices, results, or charges. Their terms apply after a visitor leaves this website.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless another owner is identified, the site's original text, graphics, branding, and code are protected. They may not be copied, altered, distributed, or republished without written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the broadest extent allowed by Colorado law, the operator is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the site, inability to use it, reliance on its content, or use of an outside service.

10. Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend and hold the operator harmless from claims, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that visitor's misuse of the website or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Colorado law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute related to use of the site must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Colorado.

12. Changes to These Terms

The terms may be revised when the service or applicable law changes. A posted revision applies from the time it appears on this page.
